Version 1.1 Update


Hey everyone! Been a little less than a month but we have a small 1.1 update ready for Eleven Parsecs that includes some balance changes as well as a number of quality-of-life changes. We wanted to make the game a little more challenging but also better inform players when they are making questionable decisions like leaving without enough cargo. Full change list is included below and we would love to hear any feedback people have about the game.

Version 1.1 Changelog:

-Added new confirmation dialogue when attempting to launch the mission without enough cargo

-Added warning message once the player enters the range of the capital ships in the blockade

-Added several new asteroid types including a massive asteroid between the player and their destination

-Added firing sound effects to both enemy turret batteries and capital ships which are based on the player's distance from them

-Created new menu background to be a little easier on the eyes rather than the old 2D background

-Changed it so adding pieces to the ship reduces the ship's acceleration and turn rate rather than top speed

-Made it so that adding cargo holds past the first one only provide 10 cargo rather than 20

-Made it so adding more shield generators will eventually start improving the recharge rate as well as overall shield amount

-Fixed the formatting on a number of text boxes to better frame the text

-Changed the way the window formats in the hopes of fixing a rare issue that created improperly scaled windows in the browser version
