Eleven Parsecs
Eleven Parsecs was originally a game made for Kenney Jam 2024. The theme was Connections which is represented in our game by connecting various ship modules together in order to make a successful run through the asteroid belt. It also is reflected in a way that each component is connected to the various attributes of your ship, from its ability to take damage to how fast it moves. You are also the planet Elbanore's connection for getting supplies through the blockade. Additionally, we also took on the bonus challenge of making the game entirely playable with the mouse.
Goal:
Deliver 20 cargo to the blue planet of Elbanore at the other end of the asteroid field. However, your fuel is ticking so you might need to pack extra to make it all the way. On top of that, enemy capital ships and turrets will try to stop you. If you take too much damage, you might end up losing your cargo before you can make it to your destination. Shield generators can help shore up your defenses. But all of these components will slow you down, so make sure you only take the essentials. Try hundreds of different ship combinations and flight paths to find the optimal way to traverse the dangerous asteroid field.

Controls:
Mouse/Right Thumbstick - Turn your Ship
W/Left Thumbstick/Left Mouse Button - Move Forward
S/Left Thumbstick/Right Mouse Button - Move Backward
Esc/Start/Middle Mouse Button - Open the Menu
*NOTE* If you encounter a bug where the game opens in a tiny corner of the window rather than filling the entire window, you may be able to fix the problem by minimizing and re-maximizing the window or pressing the fullscreen button. On some machines there is an issue with the browser-based version of the game that initially does not scale to the rest of the window correctly.

The buttons don't response well for me when I click on them (HTML version, with safari).
We've been having some issues with the browser-based version, not sure how to fix that on the game side yet. If it opens in a separate window for your browser, try minimizing that window and then maximizing it again. For some reason, that has worked to fix the issue with a couple of different browsers although I'm not sure if it will fix the issue on safari. Fullscreening the game may help too but I haven't had an opportunity to test it in Safari as much. Not sure why it is doing that in general, one of the weirdest issues I've encountered with a browser-based version

I'm glad to hear that trick worked for safari too! I wasn't sure with that browser, when we tested it on mac it was mostly on firefox/chrome. Thanks for playing!
