Infelix: Lost at Sea is an open world naval combat and exploration game that was created for Pixel Game Jam - 2024 and the Narrative Design Awards 2024. The theme for Pixel Game Jam was Aqua which is represented by the main character being named Aqua, having Aqua colored hair and ship sails, and that the ocean itself if Aqua in color. The theme for Narrative Design Awards was Nautical, which is shown through the naval focus of the game and navigating the ocean aboard your ship.

The Story:

You are Aqua, a private sailor that lives within a collection of islands known as the Rexdom. You have been working on your own special project, a diving bell with a port hole that can be lowered to the sea floor to see what is down there. This has attracted the attention of the king of Rexdom who tasks you to find a lost ship called the HMS Infelix. You jump aboard your ship and head for the open seas to piece together clues of where the lost ship may be.

How to Play:

You must locate the lost ship, whether it is still above water or whether it has sunk to Davy Jone's locker. You can drop your dive bell while at sea to see if the ship is at the bottom of the ocean where you are. You also have several cannons to defend yourself as not all ships at sea are friendly. A rival faction known as the Rook Creed flies red sails emblazoned with a golden rook and their ships will attack any Rexdom vessels including yours. There are also pirates flying black sails with white X's that will attack any and all ships they come across.
