Umbral Interlude
Umbral Interlude is a submission to the 1-Bit Jam
The theme was light/dark so my first thought was to build a game with a light and dark world. I also decided to swap the colors when you switch between each world. In Umbral Interlude, you play the owner of a tea/bathhouse that serves not only worldly customers but also spirits. You must swap between being in the spirit world and the real world. But be quick, as both types of customers won't wait long before leaving and that will get you negative karma. Once you've built up enough negative karma, the game ends.
The goal of the Jam is to create a game that uses only two colors. In this case I chose to use complimentary colors and I wanted to go with a unique palette. So I selected #5A00AE (purple) and #54AE00 (green).
